Connect better with your audiences using Google's Video Sitemap

In order to get super-SEOed and be discovered when dealing with video, I recommend to use new Google's Video Sitemap. Watch the video above.

Video sitemaps are submitted to Google via Google’s Webmaster Tools.

The five elements to include are:

• the title
• a brief description
• the play page URL (where the video can be watched)
• the thumbnail image's URL
• where the raw file can be stored

Google assures that there is no advantage to indexing YouTube content versus content hosted on another site, such as Dailymotion or Blip. It just depend on where is the most relevant content.
